A week ago I had some photos published in La Tercera, illustrating an article on Lanalhue Lake, a lake located in the Bio Bio region.
This area was near the epicenter of the February 27th earthquake that struck the south-central part of Chile. However,in Chilean collective consciousness, Lanalhue and the Arauco province are more known for its history of indigenous Mapuche conflict than for anything else. This article, written by my travel writer friend Evelyn Pfeiffer, aims to prove that there is a burgeoning tourism that’s well worth exploring.
