
He currently lives and works in Chile as a freelance photojournalist and as Creative Director for Nomadas del Sur, a tourist consultancy which he co-founded.
Gabriel received a BFA in Fine Arts Photography from the University of Connecticut in 2004, while having worked as a web and graphic designer for numerous clients as well as being the in-house designer and photographer for the William Benton Museum of Art. He also participated in radio at WHUS 91.7FM, learning advanced audio production techniques.
After graduation and having lived in the United States for 23 years, he decided to move to his native Chile to begin work as a photojournalist.
Past photography clients include Delta Airlines’ SKY magazine, La Tercera (Chile), Revolver Santiago Magazine (Chile), Hotel Las Torres, Fantástico Sur, and Hotel Río Serrano in Torres del Paine National Park. He has also worked with the Ministry of Public Works (Ministerio de Obras Públicas) of Chile.
